GTA V Next Gen Trailer (Rockstar Games)
When playing online and encountering a cheater, it is likely that in most cases your gaming experience will be easily ruined for that round.
Tully will retire and come back at a later date, but this is probably where it will end.
But what happens when cheaters gain access to your user account?
This is exactly what the GTA community is warning against.
One of the players identified in the community as Tez2, warned on Twitter about a new loophole he discovered in the online mode of GTA that allows cheaters not only to ruin your gaming experience, but to take control of your user account and do whatever they want with it.
"A new and dangerous loophole has been discovered and it allows cheaters to change, add and edit your user account remotely. They can also corrupt the information and cause the account to be suspended."
He went on to recommend "Play with a firewall, or avoid playing at all!"
In a follow-up post, another user who develops security tools for GTA explained that the hack is probably more serious than we think, and its effect is able to spill over to the computers themselves: "This hack is so serious that one wrong action can end in the loss of your user account, or even files the system on your computer."
The community has published its own updates that should provide a temporary solution to the problem and prevent cheaters from joining you in games and servers, and Rockstar has not yet provided an official response or response.
The forums recommend to reduce the playing times in GTA to a minimum, or not to play at all.
