Someone fell from Chunfa Building, Cheung Fat Estate, Tsing Yi. Today (23rd) at 10:00 am, a man fell from the high-rise stairwell of the building and lay on the open space opposite. Passers-by found out and called the police.
The ambulance sent the man to Yan Chai Hospital, where he was later certified dead.
It is understood that the man has a record of mental illness and has been unhappy recently due to emotional problems. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
The police seized a suicide note at the scene and are contacting his family members, and the case is being treated as a fall from a height.
