INTERVIEW – Former Minister of Labor and support of Emmanuel Macron, the mayor (Progressive Federation) of Dijon pleads for an “annual review clause”, in order to “adjust the duration of contribution”.

- Do you approve of the pension reform presented by the government, which provides for the postponement of the legal age to 64 in 2030?

Francois REBSAMEN.

- The government is proposing many advances: for small pensions raised to a minimum of 1,200 euros, for workers with long careers, for women with choppy careers, for people with disabilities... But it must not fracture the country, already shaken by the exit from the Covid, inflation, the change in the relationship to work and the shock of the war in Ukraine.

Postponing the legal age and accelerating the increase in the contribution period is a double penalty!

It's too brutal.

With my party, Progressive Federation, I demand the withdrawal of the postponement of the legal age, in favor of the sole acceleration of the contribution period.

Wasn't that age measurement in the program you supported?

During his campaign, Emmanuel Macron had sometimes mentioned 65 years, sometimes 64… The proposal was not very precise…
