Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin discussed, during their meeting in Tehran today, the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Iranian Fars news agency quoted Raisi as saying when he received Volodin today: The economic relations between Tehran and Moscow are constantly strengthening and improving, and that the two countries have diverse and many capabilities in various fields of trade, energy, transit, transportation and shipping, and bilateral cooperation can be activated in these fields.
For his part, Volodin indicated, according to RIA Novosti, that Russia and Iran support the establishment of a just world order and ensuring global security, as the West's dictatorship can only be confronted through the freedom of development of countries and peoples.
And the Russian State Duma Speaker had confirmed earlier today during a press conference with Iranian Shura Council Speaker Muhammad Baqer Qalibaf that joint action to combat terrorism in Syria contributed to strengthening security in the region as a whole, and that the war against terrorism is only part of the joint efforts of Russia and Iran to peaceful future.
