Sergio Chorolque Sala, son of the leader of the Tupac Amaru organization, died this Monday for reasons that have not yet been specified.

The son of the leader of the Tupac Amaru organization, Milagro Sala, Sergio Chorolque Sala, died this Monday in Jujuy for reasons that are still unknown.

The information was confirmed by relatives of the leader detained since 2016 and sentenced to 13 years in prison for illicit association and defrauding the State in the case known as Pibes Villeros, a ruling that was ratified by the Supreme Court.

"I hereby inform that the son of Milagro Sala, Sergio Chorolque Sala, died today. At the moment there is no more information," they let it be known from the environment of the social leader.

Sergio Chorolque, 37, had worked in the Accounting Office of the Province of Jujuy since 2007 and since 2018 he was an advisor to the Deliberative Council of San Salvador de Jujuy.

It is worth remembering that in 2017, the Jujuy court charged him in a case for money laundering against his mother, in which 12 vehicles had been hijacked.

The judicial investigation revealed that between 2011-2015, Chorolque had bought seven cars and they all did so in cash.

Within the framework of that case, he was charged with the crime of "aggravated concealment by seizure and use of assets of illicit origin."

The information about the death of Sergio Chorolque had an impact on social networks.

"With sadness, I report that the son of Milagro Sala died!" Graciela Peñafort, director of Legal Affairs of the Senate, transmitted.

The piquetero leader Luis D'Elía also expressed himself through his Twitter account.

"It is with great pain that I receive the news of the death of Sergio Chorolque, son of Milagro Sala," he said.
