Pamela Anderson revealed that Tim Allen showed her his penis when she was 23 years old

2023-01-23T15:20:03.860Z

The actress made that confession in the book 'Love, Pamela', which will be out at the end of the month. The actor who worked with her on 'Home Improvement' denies it.

Next Tuesday, January 31, Pamela Anderson will be under the magnifying glass twice.

That day

Love, Pamela

,

the book of her memoirs

of her will be published;

and simultaneously,

Netflix premieres a documentary about her life

, titled

Pamela Anderson: A Love Story

.

Although there is more than a week left for the launch of both contents,

some passages from the book came to light, as a promotion

.

In one of them, the actress details a disturbing incident that she experienced on the set of

Home Improvement

with

Tim Allen, the series' protagonist.

“The first day of filming, I came out of my dressing room and Tim (Allen) was in the hallway in his robe.

He opened his robe and he was completely naked underneath

,” Anderson, 55, reveals.

Anderson accused Tim Allen of opening his robe and showing him his genitals on the set of "Home Improvement" in 1991.

He said it was fair, because he had seen me naked

.

'Now we are even'.

I laughed uncomfortably”, he adds in that excerpt from

Love, Pamela

to which the

Variety

site had access before its publication.

The incident happened in 1991,

when Pamela was 23 years old

.

It is assumed that Allen - famous for being the voice of

Buzz Lightyear in the

Toy Story

saga

-, who was 37 at the time, was referring to one of the famous covers of Playboy magazine that

catapulted Anderson to the rank of international sex symbol

.

Anderson's explosive accusation against her former partner is one of many to be included in the book

that traces her meteoric rise from a small town girl in Vancouver, Canada, to one of the most well-known and desired women in the world.

Allen's answer

Tim Allen, in the last Santa Claus movie.

The actor claims that Anderson's accusations are false.

“No, it never happened.

He would never do such a thing

,” Allen told

Variety

in a statement that the actor who plays

Santa Claus

in the Disney franchise shared in rebuttal.

Home Improvement

, one of the most watched sitcoms of the 1990s in the United States,

launched Allen to stardom and marked the beginning of Pamela's television career

.

Allen played Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, the story's protagonist, a family man who hosts a television show to make home improvements and repairs.

Anderson played Lisa "The Tool Girl" - one of Taylor's assistants on the show - for the first two seasons of the ABC sitcom,

before leaving to focus on Baywatch

, which became a global phenomenon exported to 150 countries.

The book and the documentary

"Pamela Anderson: A Love Story" premieres Tuesday, January 31 on Netflix.

Love, Pamela

is one of the most anticipated titles of the year from the HarperCollins publisher.

In the autobiography,

Anderson also refers to Pam & Tommy

, the successful series that Hulu premiered in February 2022 -here it was seen by Star+-.

So far,

the real protagonist of the story has decided not to give any kind of statement

about the series that delves into the infamous sex tape that was stolen from her home with her then-husband Tommy Lee.

As for the Netflix documentary, which as already mentioned

opens on the platform on Tuesday the 31st

, it also has Pamela in the first person.

Pamela, a love story

puts the narrative back in the hands of the only woman who can tell it: an icon, a mother, an activist and a lifelong romantic”, says part of the summary of the film.

Pamela Anderson was encouraged to tell traumatic situations from her past.

The documentary features previously unseen home videos and excerpts from

the actress' never-before-seen diaries to offer Anderson's "honest reflections on the tumultuous experiences that have shaped who she is today, including her explosive romances and the infamous stolen tape that became the first viral internet video that would mark a turning point in his career.”
