Three people were injured, two seriously in a shooting in Des Moines, Iowa, local police announced on their Twitter account.
Several people were arrested by the police.
Two students among the injured
The shooting was reported shortly before 1 p.m. (8 p.m. French time), at Starts Right Here, a "charter school" (secular school with private management) which helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, said the chain of CNN television.
Two students and a teacher were among the injured, according to the media.
Police say two of the injured are in critical condition.
They gave no information on the condition of the third injured person.
