Former Florida congressional candidate Chuck Kalisto called on the US administration to send invoices to the head of the Ukrainian regime, instead of continuing to supply him with weapons and sending him new tanks.
Callisto's speech came in response to Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who earlier called on the Joe Biden administration to provide Kyiv with military vehicles.
“Graham just urged the US to send tanks to Vladimir Zelensky after his trip to Ukraine, and the only thing we need to send him is the bill,” Kalisto wrote in a tweet.
Ukraine has been asking the West for several months to provide it with armored vehicles for offensive operations, believing that supplying ten, twenty, or even fifty tanks will not solve the problem, because the Russian army has a thousand of them.
Western countries have recently intensified their military support for Ukraine in an escalating step to the crisis in it, while Russia has warned, through its Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, that any shipment containing weapons to Kiev will become a legitimate target for Russian forces.
Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin stressed that supplying Kyiv with offensive weapons by the West would lead to a global catastrophe and responses by Moscow using stronger weapons.
