Amir Ohana after his appointment as Speaker of the Knesset (Knesset Channel)
Those who celebrate their birthday on Tu Bashvet may be invited to celebrate in the Knesset, which is also her birthday. This year the Knesset will be 74 years old, and on the occasion of the birthday, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana decided to join in the celebration those who share the date with her.
In the invitation, Ohana wrote: "In honor of the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the legislative authority, I wanted to combine the national joy with the private joy - and to invite for a celebratory visit female citizens and citizens from all sectors and from all over the country, who were born on the Knesset's birthday. The Knesset is the home of the citizens of Israel, its gates are routinely open to them and now Even on their personal holiday, which will become a unique experience."

Those who wish to join the celebration are invited to write an email to Shellyo@knesset.gov.il, briefly detail in the email about themselves and the reason they want to come, and attach a copy of the ID card appendix with the Hebrew date of birth, or February 14 for those who celebrate according to the foreign date.
The message also states that the number of participants is limited, and the emails can be sent until Sunday, January 29.
After several years in which the Knesset's birthday celebrations were limited, due to the Corona epidemic, this year a full and special celebration is planned.
The Knesset will celebrate the birthday in plenary and in committees, as well as in events that will be held around the Mishkan, with guests from all parts of the country, to which the 10th tribe can join.
