Build Israel is an organization of gamers that has carved a goal on its flag: to inspire, educate, and connect youth around the world to the Land of Israel.

To this end, they established a community that includes 50 teenagers from all over the country, and through the popular creation-construction-survival game Minecraft, they build the Land of Israel in its virtual version, and allow each and every one to go on an extraordinary adventure, explore landscapes and historical sites and discover the land and its many stories through the game.

This year, in honor of International Holocaust Day, Bild Israel and the company Simplex, which develops 3D urban planning systems, present a new project on which they have worked for a long time: building an accurate model of the Yad Vashem Museum, and setting up an educational exhibition in a game through which visitors can learn about the Holocaust in a new way which appeals to younger target audiences.

This unique project will open on the upcoming international holocaust day on January 27, and will include a virtual display commemorating the holocaust.

The museum and the exhibition are accessible to millions of young people who play Minecraft around the world.

Alex Gold, CEO of Bild Israel says: "When we had the idea to build the Yad Vashem Museum and set up an educational exhibition in Minecraft through it, we immediately contacted Yad Vashem, who responded to our request with open arms and made sure to provide us with study materials, videos, and even give us a full tour of the site .

At the end of the tour we realized the magnitude of the challenge, and we turned to a community of players from Germany who immediately jumped in for help and together with them, we successfully completed the task." The

desire to build an accurate model of the Yad Vashem Museum in the game made the team turn to Simplex, which provides automatic 3D modeling in an advanced work environment for hundreds Construction companies, architectural offices and authorities. Through advanced 3D processing capabilities, the company can present a more tangible picture than ever of entire cities, and manage complex data, perform measurements and analyze, among other things, lines of sight, landscape and shadow.

Today, several years after its launch, one can see the amazing results of the project and the important educational values it brings with it, including the commemoration of the memory of the Holocaust and heroism for future generations from all over the world.

As part of the gaming experience, those young people will be able to get a very tangible experience of photos, personal items, diaries and memories of the survivors and victims, and even take a tour of the Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations on the grounds of the museum.
