A lamb has been stolen from a sheep pasture in Benediktbeuern.
The consumption could get the thief bad.
Benediktbeuern
- An approximately three-month-old lamb has disappeared from a sheep pasture in the Benediktbeuern/Hinterpriel area.
According to the Kochel police station, the incident happened on the night of January 17th to 18th.
Unknown steals lamb: Animal was recently treated against parasites
"Since the lamb was of the ideal age for slaughter and there was no evidence of a fight with a large carnivore, it must be assumed that it was stolen," says the press report.
As the sheep farmer announced, the animal was treated for parasite infestation shortly before it disappeared.
Consumption could therefore lead to health problems.
Anyone with information about the thief or the whereabouts of the animal should contact the police station in Kochel, telephone 0 80 41/76 10 60.
