Pensions: Roussel invites town halls to close their doors on January 31

The boss of the PCF proposed a “solidarity mayors operation” to allow civil servants to participate in the day of mobilization.


After the first success of the mobilization of January 19, Fabien Roussel still wants to go up a notch for the second day of action, scheduled for Tuesday January 31.

Invited this Tuesday on Cnews, the national secretary of the PCF called

on “the mayors to symbolically close their town hall”,

during the new strike called by the eight major trade union centers.

“I call on them to take measures of solidarity with the social movement.

I therefore invite them to close their town hall for two to three hours so that their agents can go to demonstrate

against the pension reform, Fabien Roussel also invited the city councilors
