Praise and a criticism of Juan José Campanella for 'Argentina, 1985'

The Argentine director maintained that the film is "good and with a stellar cast", but said that it was "for a short time" in theaters.


Argentine filmmaker Juan José Campanella, winner of an Oscar for

El secreto de sus ojos

 in 2010, told EFE on Tuesday

In a brief statement to EFE, Campanella hoped that the production of Mitre, which he defined as

, will be revived in commercial theaters in Argentina now that it is nominated for an Oscar for best international film.

An Argentine honored in Miami

The director of El hijo de la novia is in Miami for the
