According to the news at the scene, the police officers fired three shots to subdue the suspect, and a Filipino man holding a Hong Kong ID card fell to the ground with two shots, including the waist, and was then hoisted by helicopter to the Hong Kong Island Eastern Hospital for emergency treatment; Two police officers were also slightly injured in the incident and were hoisted by helicopter to Ruttonjee Hospital on Hong Kong Island for treatment.
Afterwards, a large number of police officers cordoned off the scene for investigation, and it is reported that at least two other people were arrested.
