Cleaning specialist Purdy & Figg uploaded a video to Tiktok in which they revealed a trick that demonstrates how to clean dust efficiently and simply without making too much of an effort.
In the video that appeared with the title "The cleaning tip you need to learn" she explains what is the common mistake most of us make.
She demonstrates how she uses a damp cloth to try to remove dust from the top of the toilet, but instead of getting rid of the dirt and dust, this method just moves the dust to another place and doesn't really clean.
She explained that it's "the point of view when you're not dusting with a dry before the wet cloth, then you're just pushing dust around."
She then advised: "Switch to a dry microfiber cloth."
So what should be done?
"Change into old, dry clothes with synthetic fibers and wipe the dust dry before using cleaning products."
