This Monday the pressure has grown for Germany to allow the shipment of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, Poland has decided to launch another order.

The Polish Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, has assured that he intends to create a union of States that have the Leopard 2, demanded by kyiv as a decisive material in the course of the war, and other heavy weapons to achieve the joint shipment, even without the specific and theoretically legally necessary green light from Berlin.

“We will build a smaller coalition of countries ready to donate some of their modern equipment, modern tanks,” Morawiecki assured in an interview with the Polish Press Agency.

"We will not passively watch Ukraine bleed to death," stressed the prime minister, who stressed that Germany's re-export permit is "secondary."

On the other hand, the foreign ministers of the European Union have agreed, as planned, the implementation of an additional package of 500 million euros to finance the delivery of arms to Ukraine.

A grant of 45 million euros has also been approved for the training of Ukrainian troops.

The European ministers, meeting in Brussels, held a videoconference with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmitro Kuleba.

In addition, Turkey's president has declared that Sweden cannot count on Turkey's approval to join NATO after allowing a right-wing extremist to burn a copy of the Koran in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm.

"Those who have caused such ignominy in front of our embassy cannot expect any kindness from us in their application to join NATO," Erdogan said during a television speech.

Moscow has also claimed it has taken control of the small town of Krasnopillia in the eastern Donetsk region, some 28 kilometers north of the Ukrainian stronghold of Sloviansk, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

“In the direction of Donetsk, volunteers from assault units, with the support of the fire of operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Southern Military District, liberated the settlement of Krasnopillia, in the People's Republic of Donetsk", reported the military spokesman, Igor Konashenkov.
