Hit and run in Brahat: a driver hit a 10-year-old girl at a crosswalk and fled (Walla system!)
A 10-year-old girl was slightly-moderately injured today (Wednesday) in a hit-and-run accident, while crossing a crosswalk in Berhat.
Police officers who arrived at the scene noticed a girl lying on the road, called rescue forces, who evacuated her to the hospital.
In the documentation of the incident, the driver can be seen hitting the girl while she was crossing the road legally, throwing her over - and fleeing the scene by driving wildly while leaving her on the road.
After a short time he was arrested and it turned out that he was a 24-year-old local resident who had never issued a license.

Earlier today, a 35-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a tractor on Yosef Aharonovich Street in Holon.
The MDA teams that were called to the scene evacuated him to the Wolfson Hospital in the city. In the afternoon, two men aged 80 and 20 were seriously injured in a car accident between two vehicles on Route 90, near the Masada intersection. The MDA teams evacuated them and five other slightly injured people to my house Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva and Hadassah Mount Scopus in Jerusalem.
MDA paramedic Roni Kahana, who arrived at the scene, said: "We saw two vehicles with severe gunshot wounds, a 20-year-old man was lying next to the vehicle while he was conscious and suffering from a head injury and an 80-year-old man was trapped in the vehicle while he was conscious and suffering from a stomach injury.
We rescued him quickly and gave them initial medical treatment in the field which included dressings and giving medication and they were evacuated by military helicopter to the hospital when they were in serious condition.
Five more wounded were treated on the spot and taken to the hospitals, where their condition is stated to be light."
