Yesterday (24th), the Observatory issued a red fire danger warning. At around 7:00 last night, a number of citizens reported that a hill fire broke out in the Lam Tsuen Country Park near Ji Kung Ridge. The line of fire initially reached 80 meters.
The top of the mountain suddenly turned into a blaze, and a lot of smoke came out. Fortunately, the area of the fire was far away from the residential areas. No one was injured and no evacuation was required.
The Jigongling mountain fire was still not extinguished at 10:00 a.m. on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year (25th). There were two fire scenes at the scene, 10 meters by 10 meters and 2 meters by 2 meters, until 11:09 a.m. Put out when.
