An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale struck southeastern Greece today.
Reuters quoted the European Center for Seismology in the Mediterranean as saying: The earthquake struck the Greek island of Rhodes in the Aegean Sea, and there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage as a result of the earthquake.
Local media reported that residents in southern Greece, on the island of Crete, felt the tremor.
