It is reported that at about 0:05 am on the 26th, the firefighters rescued the injured and handed them over to ambulancemen for first aid. Initially, the victim was seriously injured, but still conscious, and had to be rushed to the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin by ambulance.


The MTR said at 0:20 am on the 26th that the incident had been dealt with and the East Rail Line train service was gradually returning to normal.

The MTR stated earlier that due to people entering the track area of ​​Fanling Station, the train service between Tai Wo and Sheung Shui Station on the East Rail Line is currently suspended; the train between Admiralty and Tai Wo Station will maintain every 8 minutes.

MTR is currently arranging shuttle buses from Tai Po Market to Sheung Shui Station to pick up affected passengers.
