Today, the Daraa Fire Brigade put out four fires, three of which broke out in the city of Daraa and one on the Damascus-Daraa International Highway.
The commander of the Fire Brigade, Colonel Muhammad al-Mahamid, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the fires affected some forest trees next to the new building of the Education Directorate, waste and an electric generator in the Al-Kashef and Airport neighborhoods, and a large transport vehicle carrying a Jordanian plate on the Damascus-Daraa highway, indicating that the speed of response contributed to extinguishing Fires before sprawl and expansion.
And the commander of the fire brigade stated that the damage was limited to material, calling on citizens to exercise caution and report fires as quickly as required on the toll-free number 113.
