The director Roger Louret, who created several solos on stage for Pierre Palmade, Muriel Robin or Guy Bedos and founded the famous troupe "
Les Baladins en Agenais
", died at the age of 72, announced his brother Guy Louret to AFP.
He died of an illness at the end of the afternoon at the hospital in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, in Lot-et-Garonne, the department in which he was born on May 20, 1950.
His shows nominated for the Molières
This former student of the Toulouse Conservatory, classical dancer and trained musician, created in 1973, in his village of Monclar, the Théâtre de Poche (60 seats) which later became "
Les Baladins en Agenais
", a troupe which will see a plethora of artists for decades.
He and his brother and accomplice Guy chain creations, stage Annie Girardot as well as actors they have revealed (Muriel Robin, Élie Semoun).
Nominated 9 times for Molières, shows such as "
The twist years
" (one million spectators), the "
80s
", at the Folies Bergère or even "
Jacques and his master
" by Kundera, directed by Nicolas Briançon, know the success, before the disappearance of the Baladins in 2001.

In addition to musical theatre, Roger Louret has also staged works by Molière, Euripides, Goldoni, Marivaux and Corneille.
The legendary actor Jean Marais will play in 1997 in his production of "
L'Arlésienne
" by Alphonse Daudet.
Also creating for Pierre Palmade (“
My sister is a chic guy
”, 1994), Guy Bedos or Christophe Malavoy, he won the Molière for best musical show for “

”.
The troupe will experience financial difficulties during its last years.
