, it should only be a “thin layer of snow”.
While it is getting warmer again in the north, the weather is rolling towards the south in the form of a snow roller - up to 30 centimeters of fresh snow can be expected from Thursday.

Friday and Saturday should also be a little friendlier in the north, according to the weather service.
Clouds and fog loosen up in places, temperatures fluctuate around 5 degrees plus.
Meanwhile, it is probably snowing in the south of Germany - especially in the north of the low mountain ranges and the Alps.
Except for the south of Bavaria, large amounts of snow are not to be expected.

The snow line is between 400 and 600 meters.
In the north it gets a little warmer with up to 8 degrees plus in East Friesland, but windy showers and gusty winds on the North Sea don't make winter any cozier.
