Paris Hilton shared a photo on social media showing a baby's hand grasping a woman's thumb. On several occasions she had frequently talked about In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to conceive a child.

Paris Hilton announced the birth of her first child with husband Carter Reum.

The celebrity shared an image of a baby's hand grasping a woman's thumb on Instagram on Tuesday, along with the caption "You are already loved beyond words" and a blue heart emoji.

Hilton representatives confirmed the announcement to CNN.

In an interview with People, published on Tuesday, Hilton said: "It has always been my dream to be a mother and I am so happy that Carter and I have found each other.

We are so excited to start a family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby."

Hilton married venture capitalist Reum in a lavish ceremony in November 2021 and has since been outspoken about using In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to conceive a child, telling People they began the process during the covid-19 pandemic.

“We knew we wanted to start a family,” he said.

“And I was like, 'This is the perfect time.

I'm usually on a plane 250 days a year, now we're going to store all the eggs and prepare them, and we'll have tons of them waiting.'”
