Now, however, the pop singer reveals in the BUNTE interview that she never really wanted to separate.
“Our separation was a process and we had been in trouble for a long time, actually for a year.
At first I didn't want to separate at all, I just wanted to change something in our marriage, because I wasn't doing well emotionally and physically," remembers Anna-Carina Woitschack.
Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack: Their love story began with "Always Sundays".
In June 2016, Anna-Carina Woitschack was a guest on "Always Sundays" and met Stefan Mross.
Four months later, the two met again at a party.
"We started talking - and haven't stopped to this day," says Stefan Mross.
Since then, Anna-Carina Woitschack and Stefan Mross have been considered the Schlager dream couple.
The engagement followed in November 2019 in front of an audience of millions on the TV show “The Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights”.
The dream wedding also took place in a live broadcast.
With Florian Silbereisen as best man, Anna-Carina Woitschack and Stefan Mross married on June 6, 2020 on the ARD show “Schlagerlovestory”.
Then on November 11, 2022 the separation.

Even if the two were still miming the perfect Schlager dream couple in public, it looked very different away from the TV cameras.
The problems in her marriage to Stefan Mross bothered Anna-Carina Woitschack.
"I lost weight, had skin problems, couldn't sleep well," reveals the pop singer.
"I fought a lot for this love, we both shed a lot of tears.
But in the end we drew a line together,” Anna-Carina Woitschack finally said.
What does Stefan Mross say about the open words of his wife?
So far he has not commented on it.
However, the "Always Sundays" moderator does not remain idle after his third marriage.
Stefan Mross canceled all dates in January and February for his concert series "Immer wieder Schlager" – his ex-wife Anna-Carina Woitschack should also be there.
Nothing will come of it now.
