About three weeks ago, a police officer was arrested on suspicion of stealing property from the station where he served, such as weapons and drugs confiscated from criminals.

The police investigation department took the officer in for questioning, and he is suspected of drug offenses, theft of property, accepting bribes, wiretapping and obstructing an investigation.

According to the suspicion, the police officer with the rank of sergeant major carried out a foreclosure as private work for the benefit of a contractor and received payment for it instead of doing it as paid police work. In addition, he is suspected of illegally eavesdropping on his partner.

A week earlier, an indictment was filed against the commander of the Rosh Ha'Ein Avi station Alxalsi for stealing motorcycle accessories from the station's warehouses that had been seized earlier and marked as stolen. The suspect was detained for questioning , and at the end of it he was released to house arrest, and removed from all police stations.
