The police arrested this morning (Wednesday) a resident of Rosh Ha'Ain on suspicion of attempted rape in a public garden in the city 10 years ago.
This is after his brother was arrested for involvement in a violent incident, a DNA sample was taken from him - and a family match was found with the samples taken from the scene 10 years ago.
After investigation, the police arrested his brother, a man in his 40s, on suspicion of attempted rape.
He will be brought today for a detention extension hearing at the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva.
