The Nantes University Hospital took the decision on Wednesday to lift its "
White Plan
".
It had been activated two months ago "
in the face of the tensions observed by pediatric and adult emergencies
".
The bronchiolitis epidemic was partly responsible for the deployment of reinforcements.
Additional beds for short-term hospitalization downstream of pediatric emergencies had notably been installed, and visits to maternity wards were limited.

The lifting of this white plan is linked to “
the end of the epidemic peaks linked to the triple epidemic influenza, Covid-19 and bronchiolitis
”, indicates the Nantes University Hospital in a press release.
“
The drop in the absenteeism rate among health professionals who had been contaminated and a return to normal in the number of visits to the emergency room for a week
” also allow a return to a less critical situation.
Vigilance measures still relevant
However,
“activity is still high in adult and pediatric emergencies”
, specifies the hospital.
This is why epidemiological indicators and activities relating to emergencies remain closely scrutinized: “
The establishment maintains its vigilance with daily monitoring of indicators, as part of the “Internal mobilization plan – management of hospital tensions”.
This is level 1 of the emergency plans, level 2 corresponding to the White Plan.
In this context, the establishment must also "
be able to adapt quickly to any changes in the situation
".
