In Lower Franconia, a woman can now call herself a millionaire.
The 68-year-old could hardly believe her luck – and plans to surprise her husband.
Munich – Third lottery million win this year in Bavaria: In the game 6aus49, a woman from Lower Franconia won 1,230,208.30 euros.
"I've been playing for so many years, hoping and praying that there will be a big win at some point," reveals the newly crowned winner in an interview with the State Lottery and Casino Administration.
Early in the morning she compared her ticket with the lottery numbers in the newspaper.
"I need to see the money in my account first and slowly digest the news."

Lottery win in Lower Franconia: woman wants to surprise her husband with millions
Only the super number 2 the woman had not typed on her full system certificate 6 out of 8.
According to a message from Lotto Bayern, she actually only wanted to get a present for her grandchild and then spontaneously decided to quickly hand in a lottery ticket for a stake of 45.85 euros.
And with great success.
"Is that really true?", she could hardly believe her luck.
“I have a great family, have been married for a long time, have children and grandchildren.
We're fine.
Only the money is tight and worries us.
That's why my husband is still working.” So far, no one knows about her win, she's still secretly happy.
As soon as the money is in the account, she wants to surprise him with it and take away his money worries.
Until then, she will remain silent.
This year it is the third lottery win in Bavaria.
Bavaria got 31 new millionaires in 2022.
This is a record in Bavaria and a blessing for the state treasury.
