On the plane, passengers often witness the rude behavior of other travelers.
Passengers either behave as if they are at home and or antagonize the crew for disregarding them.
Recently, however, a woman drew attention to herself for not being too gentle with her dog.
A video of the incident is currently doing the rounds on the short video platform TikTok.

"The plane wasn't the only thing that flew today," TikTok user @lauren_ide comments on the clip she shared online.
In it, a passenger on board can be seen picking up her dog and trying to throw her dog over her shoulder - probably with too much momentum as it falls off behind her back and instead lands on the passenger sitting next to it - who is @lauren_ide

A short murmur can be heard from the other travelers, but the woman tries again to lift her poodle onto her shoulder - but this time with success.
Apparently, the scene arose after the dog owner was asked by the crew to get off the plane.
"Thank you JetBlue for your help with this improper behavior," @lauren_ide thanked the US airline under the video.

Opinions on the incident are divided: Many TikTok users condemn the dog owner for her rough treatment of the animal: "Why is she doing something like that?" Says a user in horror.
Another wrote: "Just the fact that she grabbed his neck says enough.
Then she decided to smack him on the shoulder, but missed it."
Others think the reactions are exaggerated: "You all act like she did it on purpose, but it was obviously an accident.
She tried to put him on her shoulder and he probably jumped out of her arm."

Apparently, the dog owner gave the impression from the start that "something was wrong with her".
It is not clear whether it was due to alcohol or other intoxicants.
However, the poodle would have been very restless in its carrier bag, which is why the woman let it sit on her lap.
The flight attendants, in turn, criticized this because it contradicted the airline's guidelines.
When the dog owner did not put the four-legged friend back in the carrier bag after repeated requests, she was asked to leave the plane.
The video was apparently made in this situation.
