Since declaring its independence in 1776, the United States has been bent on expanding its territory and influence, and with the end of World War II it has spared no effort to seek global domination.

During the “Cold War”: The United States supported sedition, sowing unrest and destruction against the Soviet Union and Eastern European countries.

The “My Lai” massacre committed by America in Vietnam in 1968

After the end of the Cold War, it promoted the policy of intervention, and often issued the so-called “color revolutions” in Georgia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, the countries of the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, West Asia, and North Africa.

- Successive US administrations pursued strategies of “world domination”, through similar policies known as:

– “containment policy” during the era of President Harry Truman.

- “Smart Power” under President Barack Obama.

- “America First” under President Donald Trump.

- “Build Back Better” under President Joe Biden.

Washington used “double standards” by following the so-called “American exceptionalism”, with no regard for international laws and rules, and severely impeded international cooperation by taking advantage of international organizations and agreements to suit its needs, while abandoning what contradicts its interests.

Washington used its veto power in the Security Council many times in support of the Israeli occupation entity

– It tried to manipulate world public opinion, while working to export its “values” by force to other countries, and to launch a cultural invasion against it.

The US administrations interfered in the internal affairs of other countries, creating conflicts by waging wars, implementing “containment strategies” and planning so-called “color revolutions”, which severely threatened world peace.

To maintain its hegemony, the United States has flagrantly violated the principles of the United Nations Charter and the norms of international law many times, especially in Syria, Iran, Iraq, Cuba, Afghanistan and other countries of the world.

– American writer William Bloom says in his book “Democracy is the Deadliest American Export”: that since the end of World War II, the United States has sought to overthrow more than 50 democratically elected foreign governments.

Author Blum: Washington has flagrantly interfered in the democratic elections of at least 30 countries, and has attempted to assassinate more than 50 foreign leaders.

Since World War II, the United States has waged or participated in wars in the Korean Peninsula, Vietnam, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, and most recently in Syria, and has supported terrorism there and led to severe humanitarian disasters.

The American invasion of Iraq - 2003

In 2003, despite widespread opposition from the international community, the United States launched war on Iraq, under unjustified allegations, resulting in hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties.

Stephen Walt, a professor of international relations at Harvard University, wrote in Foreign Policy: “America’s endless campaigns abroad unleash an array of militaristic and covert political forces, heightened executive power, xenophobia, and pseudo-patriotism, all at odds with the virtues civil society on which proper democracy depends.

After the attacks of September 11, 2001:

Under the pretext of “combating terrorism” and using “double standards” and the “Cold War mentality”, the United States waged “wars” in many regions of the world, divided countries into different camps, and overthrew legitimate governments.

These allegations have become a tool to maintain its hegemony and promote so-called democracy and American values abroad, which has led to harm to millions of civilians in the world, exacerbating the refugee issue, plunging affected areas into chaos, and increasing global security threats.

Torture of Iraqis at the hands of the American occupation in Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq - 2004

The United States has violated “human rights” and freedoms in other countries, as evidenced by the horrific atrocities of abuse committed by the US military against prisoners in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The American “Smithsonian” magazine said: Contrary to what most Americans and world public opinion believe, the American war under the slogans of combating terrorism does not subside, as it has spread to more than 40 percent of the world’s countries.

An American report issued by the “Costs of War” project at Brown University, USA, revealed that between 770,000 and 801,000 people were victims of Washington’s post-9/11 wars.
