Heavy tension in Yehuda and Shimron after the events today (Thursday) in Jenin.

Since the morning hours, when the reports of what happened in Jenin began to arrive, Molotov cocktails and stones were thrown on Samaria roads, along with burning tires - events that miraculously ended without significant casualties.

Palestinian sources estimate that the PA will announce the end of security coordination with Israel until further notice.

In the early afternoon, stones were thrown at a civilian vehicle at the Akraba intersection between Tufuh and Magdalim, near the place where the Or Haim outpost was established.

As a result, two Israelis injured their eyes and were taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.

At the same time, Palestinians also threw stones at the transportation of children between the small Yakir intersection in the direction of Emmanuel, as well as at two vehicles.

In addition, massive stone pelting was also recorded at Israeli vehicles between Tapuh and Ariel intersections.

The events are not concentrated only in Samaria, but in the whole of Israel. Palestinians set three burning tires on fire on the Chutza Yehuda road, near the Olive junction. Burning tires were also set on fire at the perimeter fence near New Gibeon, at the entrance to the Bnei Hasan camp near Kiryat Netafim, as well as at the barrier between Hatmar Shomron to Itamar and at the junction of the houses in Kfar Hvara.

Stone pelting was also recorded on the Gush Etzion-Hebron road, between the large Yitzhar intersection and the Shumron Htmar, between the Einbus square and Beito, at the Avraham Hasnou intersection - south of Hebron, near Rawavi, in the area of the village of Luban a-Sharqiya, near Deir Abu Meshal, near Duma, and near Bir Zeit. Near the settlement of Einav, Palestinians threw stones at an Israeli vehicle, and the resident got out of his vehicle and chased after them.

Along with the dozens of incidents, there was also an incident that was apparently the result of a harasser, but proves how explosive the situation in the area is.

Around 13:00 it was reported that a vehicle overturned on the Gush Etzion-Hebron road as a result of throwing stones.

Large forces were rushed to the scene but did not find a scene.

No innocents will be harmed

In the meantime, Palestinian sources estimate that the PA leadership will announce the end of security coordination with Israel until further notice, following the sequence of events in the Palestinian Authority that culminated this morning in the Jenin refugee camp.

The operation that took place by a large force of the IDF in Jenin ended successfully. This is an unusual operation in its scope in recent times, also because it took place in the heart of the refugee camp, also in broad daylight, and also in terms of the number of terrorists who were injured during it. The security forces wanted to convey a message that the IDF He will avoid harming innocent people in cities and towns at all costs, even at the cost of a day of battle in the heart of a refugee camp.

The IDF is well aware that the one-off operation led to tensions in the Yush and informed the security officers of the settlements to increase vigilance.

Also, another fighter battalion was sent to reinforce the forces in Judea and Samaria.

At the moment there are no specific warnings of an attack, but the IDF does not take risks and prepares for any scenario.
