At the head of the
Floatee
start-up , Philippe Rouvier and Thibaut Choulet came to present the anti-drowning t-shirt they have developed.
The two 29-year-old engineers from Toulouse created this garment a year and a half ago - intended for children aged 2 to 6 - capable of transforming into a life jacket in an instant.
The presentation of their product and their company to Delphine André, Jean-Pierre Nadir, Blaise Matuidi, Éric Larchevêque and Anthony Bourbon unanimously convinced the five investors.
In particular the latter who quickly spoke.
Anti-drowning t-shirt
To participate in the development of Floatee, Philippe Rouvier and Thibaut Choulet offered to sell 10% of their capital for 100,000 euros.
"We have completed the development and a large part of the industrialization
," they said after investing 80,000 euros.
On their website, with a 20% discount, the complete anti-drowning t-shirt is sold for 119 euros.
At retail, the anti-UV t-shirt part alone is 47 euros and the gas refill with its trigger system is 23 euros.
