The advisor to the Acting President of the Donetsk People's Republic, Igor Kimakovsky, announced that the Russian forces have tightened their control over sites on the outskirts of the city of Oglidar in the Republic, and are continuing to fight against the forces of the Ukrainian regime there.
“Our forces entered the outskirts of Oglidar and entrenched themselves there, which restricted the movement of the forces of the Kyiv regime,” TASS news agency quoted Kimakovsky as saying in a television interview today.
The Russian defense announced earlier this month that its offensive units had advanced near the Oglidar area.
