Everywhere this year, carnival balls and parties are on the rise again.
In Deining there is even a beggar wedding.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – Finally, partygoers in the district can dress up to their heart’s content and party again: After the compulsory Corona break, carnival balls, festivals, hustle and bustle and parades are taking place everywhere this year.
One almost gets the impression that everything that could not take place for two years has to be made up for.
The friends of the foolish season are spoiled for choice.
Here is an overview of the most important events that are currently known to our newspaper.
Carnival in Geretsried: Islander ball and children's carnival in the council chambers
The Wolfratshausen carnival society fools' island invites you to several costume parties.
On Friday, February 17th, the Islander Ball will take place in the Ratsstuben in Geretsried.
It begins at 6:30 p.m. and admission is €17.
The show band "Cagey String's" is playing.
The carnival society also invites you to the children's ball on Sunday, February 19, from 1 p.m. in the council chambers.
Admission: children two euros, adults three euros.
The finale in the Geretsrieder Ratsstuben finally ends the foolish season on Tuesday, February 21, from 5 p.m.
The duo "Evelyn and Gerd" creates a good atmosphere.
Admission is free.

On Sunday, January 29, from 2 to 5 p.m., the town of Geretsried welcomes the little ones to the dwarf carnival (0 to 5 years) in the council chambers.
According to the city's press release, the Walter Autsch Band will play and the children's guard of the Narrhalla Oberschleißheim has announced that they will be there.
Admission: 4 euros.
The children's carnival for children from 6 to 13 years takes place on Thursday, February 9, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the council chambers.
Admission: 4 euros.
On Shrove Tuesday, February 21, from 1 p.m., there will be a colorful hustle and bustle with live music, food and drink on Karl-Lederer-Platz.
The "Urzeln" of the Transylvanian Saxons will pick up Geretsried's mayor Michael Müller at 1 p.m. in the town hall.
Already on February 18th they are holding their traditional Urzelkraut dinner in the council chambers.
Carnival in Wolfratshausen: Children's carnival, Shrove Monday ball and "Wolfratshausen crazy"
On Sunday, February 12, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., the Kolping family Wolfratshausen invites you to the children's carnival in the Catholic parish home of St. Andreas.
The children's prince couple and the children's guard will perform.
Little fools will also get their money's worth on Saturday, February 18, in the Loisachhalle at the children's carnival from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The next day, on Sunday, February 19, there will be music, dance and fun for everyone in Marktstraße under the motto "Wolfratshausen foolish".
There's definitely a lot going on at the Kolping Family's Shrove Monday ball on February 20th in the Loisachhalle.
The band "FlexxiBells" from Deining starts at 8 p.m., tickets are available in advance at the Citizens' Office/Town Hall.
At carnival: Beira Maschkera Verein is looking forward to numerous performances
The Beira Maschkera association with its princely guard and royal couple is looking forward to numerous performances under the motto "Beira Casino".
Dates, organized together with the Benediktbeurer associations, are: "Würfel di weg Boi" on Saturday, January 28, Gasthaus Post, 8 p.m., admission 7.30 p.m.;
Children's and youth guard meeting on Sunday, January 29, gymnasium, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., admission 9.30 a.m.;
"Strip Poker Boi" on Saturday, February 4, Gasthaus Post, 8 p.m., admission 7.30 p.m.;
Kinderboi on Friday, February 10, Gasthaus Post, 2 to 5:30 p.m.;
"D'Musi always wins Boi" on Saturday, February 11, Gasthaus Post, 8 p.m., admission 7.30 p.m.;
"Ois oder Nix Boi" on Saturday, February 18, Gasthaus Post, 8 p.m., admission 7.30 p.m. and "As Ass imlee Boi" on Monday, February 20, Gasthaus Post, 8 p.m., admission 7.30 p.m.
Carnival: Full program for the Münsinger Gaudi Guard
The twelve girls and three "Hofäs" (court jesters) of the Münsinger Gaudi Guard have a full program this year.
You can admire the group on Saturday, January 28, in Haunshofen "Beim Dorfwirt", on Friday, February 3, at the Lüßboch-Boi at the Alter Wirt in Höhenrain, on Saturday, February 4, at the carnival ball of the marching band in the Gasthaus zur Mühle in Beuerberg, on Saturday, February 11th, at the women's wreath at the Alten Wirt in Höhenrain, on Sunday, February 12th, at the senior citizens' carnival in the rectory, on nonsensical Thursday, February 16th, at the carnival in Kochel am See, on Saturday, February 18th February, at the Voglwuidboi in the Münsinger community hall and at the Shrove Monday ball in the Alter Wirt in Höhenrain.
Eurasburg: Carnival ball, children's carnival and women's carnival
The marching band is holding its carnival ball on Saturday, February 4th, in the Gasthaus zur Mühle in Beuerberg from 8 p.m.
On Sunday, February 5, the sports club invites you to the children's carnival from 2 p.m. also in the Gasthaus zur Mühle - and on Thursday, February 16, not only women can celebrate at the women's carnival from 6 p.m.
Carnival stronghold Bichl: Several balls in the "Bavarian Lion"
Another carnival stronghold is Bichl.
The Bichler Maschkera invite you to several balls in the "Bavarian Lion".
All begin at 8 p.m. and are for ages 16 and up.
On Saturday, January 28th, there will be celebrations at the "Indiana- and Cow-Boi".
On Saturday, February 4th, "The one who dances with the intoxication-Boi" will follow.
And the week after, on Saturday, February 11th, there's Buds die nei & Hill die weg Boi.
On Friday, February 17, the "Lumpenboi" rises.
Finally, on Carnival Sunday, February 19, a carnival procession will take place in Bichl, starting at 1:33 p.m.
The princely couple and their guards appear at all balls.
Carnival in Lenggries: children's carnival and rock carnival
The carnival club "Mia sans" invites you to the children's carnival on Sunday, February 12, from 2 p.m. and the rock carnival on Saturday, February 18, from 7 p.m. to the Alpenfestsaal.
Begging wedding in Deining: Wedding ceremony on a "holy dung heap"
A beggar wedding is required in Deining this year.
The boys' association invites you to the happy spectacle on Saturday, February 18th.
Line-up for the church procession is at 11.45 a.m. at the Schützenhaus in Deining.
The wedding ceremony takes place on the "holy dung heap of the Feichtmoar estate" at 12:12 p.m.
Carnival parade in Königsdorf canceled
According to the Kinschdarfer Maschkera press release, there will be no carnival parade this year.
