A man in his 30s, Chen Jinhui, told his family that he would go fishing on Po Toi Island after work yesterday (25th), but he did not return home until early morning.
Fearing for his safety, the family called the police for help.
At 10:00 this morning (26th), the police, the Fire Services Department and the Government Flying Service began searching the area around Po Toi Island.
Chen Jinhui's family members posted a message on Facebook this morning looking for people, and uploaded pictures of Chen Jinhui's clothes when he set off.
Police today (26th) appealed to members of the public to provide information on a missing man in Hung Hom.
The 30-year-old man, Chen Jinhui, disappeared after his last appearance on Fat Kwong Street yesterday (January 25). His family reported the case to the police today.
He is about 1.7 meters tall and weighs about 75 kilograms. He is of medium build, square, with yellow skin and short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue trousers, black shoes and carrying a white fishing rod bag and a wheelbarrow.

This is the second fisherman missing this week. On the second day of the Lunar New Year (23rd), a 65-year-old man, Chen Shu, left home to go fishing in Longgutan. He still did not return home at night, so his family members decided to call the police.
The Government Flying Service and the Marine Police searched the center of the sea afterwards, but they have not been found yet.
