At 8:16 am today (26th), the security guard at Block 1, Tsui Ning Garden, Fung On Street, Tuen Mun called the police, saying that someone had fallen from a height and was lying on the ground.
Rescuers arrived at the scene and checked and confirmed that the woman who fell from the building was dead.
The police cordoned off the scene and are investigating the identity of the deceased and the cause of the fall.
After investigation, the police said that the surname of the deceased was Yu, a 35-year-old resident of the above address. It is believed that she fell from the unit. No suicide note was found at the scene. The cause of death is yet to be determined after an autopsy.
The site is opposite Block 1 of Cuining Garden.
