Season 2 of
The White Lotus
, recently crowned Best Miniseries at the Golden Globes, features wealthy tourists vacationing at an upscale Italian hotel (the Four Seasons San Domenico Palace) in Sicily.
In Episode 3, Daphne (Meghan Fahy) takes Harper (Aubrey Plaza) to Noto, to a lavish villa whose murals inspired this season's credits.
Although it is not located in Noto but at the other end of Sicily, next to Palermo, the
palazzo
seen on the screen is very real.
Even better, it is available for rent on Airbnb for a lavish vacation and can accommodate up to 8 people.

A stay from 16500 €
For fans of the series, wanting to experience the same pomp as the characters (but without the drama), or composer Wagner, who also stayed at the villa, it will cost around 5,500 euros per night.
The reservation, for a minimum of three days, includes the service, among others, of a butler and a chef.
For a few extras, the owners also offer to arrange tours, including Palermo's Palatine Chapel and the nearby Cappucini Catacombs.

Ten hectares of luxury and culture
The estate, rented by the owners, Giuseppe Lanza Branciforte and his father, Lucio Mastrogiovanni Tasca, is surrounded by 10 hectares of garden.
Garden that Maupassant evoked in his travelogue
La vie errante
, for its "admirable tropical plants" and its "orange tree wood".
Orange trees and tropical plants are always present, to which are added a few swans and something to enjoy la
dolce vita
: a terrace and a swimming pool.
Inside, the house, parts of which date from the 16th century, consists of four bedrooms, each with a private living room and a marble bathroom.
In the rooms, the decoration gives pride of place to Italian Renaissance painting.
A veritable ode to Italian cultural heritage, between trompe-l'oeil murals, mosaics and Murano chandeliers, the house also houses a billiard table, an English bar and a grand piano.
A dream setting at the height of the splendor displayed in the series.
