Brokstedt/Kiel – Two people were killed and seven injured in the knife attack in Brokstedt (Schleswig-Holstein) on Wednesday (January 25).

The 33-year-old attacker was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.

According to Transport Minister Claus Ruhe Madsen (independent), there has never been a violent crime on a train as serious as the deadly knife attack on Wednesday in Schleswig-Holstein, reports the dpa news agency.

Similar incidents have happened again and again in recent years.
