A No. 3 alarm fire broke out in Tsuen Wan.
At around 4:11 a.m. on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year (27th), 3 to 4 iron houses caught fire in Henglong Village, Tsuen Kam Highway. The fire was so intense that many residents called the police.
Firefighters arrived and had to pull the throat for rescue. Then at about 4:39 in the morning, the fire alarm was raised to level 3. The area of the fire area was 20 meters by 20 meters. Two throats and two teams of smoking caps were being used to fight the fire.
During the fire, about 70 villagers initially had to evacuate to a safe place for temporary shelter. At least two people felt unwell after inhaling the smoke, including a 15-year-old boy and an old man. They were both sent to Yan Chai Hospital for treatment. black.
What was seen at the scene was a row of iron houses blazing with flames, thick smoke sweeping through the air, clearly visible in the distance; adjacent to the fire site, large trees were affected, and vehicles were "buried in flames" on the side of the road, only the frame of the car was burned.
Many residents were wearing pajamas and hurriedly evacuated to a nearby grassland for shelter.
The Fire Services Department issued a special notice at 5:34 a.m., appealing to members of the public to close doors and windows and remain calm if they are affected by the smoke and odor drifting with the wind.
The fire at the scene was violent, and some vehicles were suspected to be affected, and the frame of the car was burned.
