Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro discussed with his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Diaz-Canel, in Caracas, ways to confront the US blockade imposed on the peoples of the two countries.
Venezuelan channel Telesur reported that Maduro also discussed with Canel ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, as a mechanism to counter US sanctions.
It is noteworthy that Venezuelan-Cuban relations have strengthened since the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez came to power in 1999.
