It is reported that the four new sites to be announced are all official land, at least three are located in urban areas, including Kai Tak, Chai Wan and Wong Tai Sin, and are expected to account for about half of the three simple housing units, namely 15,000 gangs.

It is understood that members of the Legislative Council will visit the Kai Tak community isolation facility next Monday (30th) to visit the simple public housing demonstration units. The facilities are built by the modular composite construction method, and the nearby space is similar to the simple public housing area in Kai Tak in the future, so the demonstration unit is placed in this area.

Legislative Council member Liu Guoxun believes that if the news is true, the three newly added simple public housing sites are located in the urban area, about ten minutes' walk from the MTR station. He thinks the traffic is convenient and better than expected, but It still depends on the number of units in the selected site to judge whether it is better than expected.

Another member of the Legislative Council, Leung Man-kwong, also said that the site selection of simple public housing is better than expected, but he is worried that some urban land is still far away from the MTR station, and hopes that the authorities can add minibuses or shuttle buses for projects far away from the MTR station Cars, etc., increase the attractiveness of simple public housing.
