Thursday morning, police went to the premises of the Metropolis of Nice Côte d'Azur to carry out a search, indicate to
Figaro
several concordant sources.
This follows the opening of a judicial investigation in November 2022 by the Paris prosecutor's office and followed by the national court in charge of the fight against organized crime (Junalco).
The Metropolis, chaired by Christian Estrosi, is suspected of "influence peddling", "organized gang scam", "abuse of social property" and "forgery and use of forgery".
