Netanyahu's return urges the justice system to bring the fortification scenario back to the table • Despite the denials, many believe that the doomsday weapon is being prepared • Only this time you are facing a government that is determined to go all the way

As if by magic, at the end of last week the television channels broadcast, in short time intervals, news that shocked the world: the legal advisor to the government and members of the law enforcement system are discussing the possibility of putting Prime Minister Netanyahu in prison.

For almost three full days, at the demonstration, Speaker Gali Bahar-Miara ignored the news, which found its way through an unknown source into the mouths of reporters and commentators. Only after a letter signed by the heads of the coalition was sent to her, did the adviser intend to clarify that there is no discussion on the issue. Blessed is the believer.

The fortification is the nuclear option of the system.

An atomic bomb that emerges at non-coincidental times.

This time the timing intensifies the threat: ousting an incumbent leader, elected a long time ago and who heads the largest bloc and party in Israel, is the most dangerous unconventional legal weapon in the arsenal.

The attitude towards these nuclear weapons on the part of the Justice Party and their satellites in the law enforcement system, is similar to the attitude taken by the State of Israel regarding its nuclear weapons - to the extent that it has any, and according to foreign sources, etc.

On the one hand, ambiguity in the official channels, and on the other, profiting from the assumption that she does possess such a weapon.

From one past you conveyed a message to everyone who needs to hear that there is a big, red button on the table, and from the other past - its development in the dark and in the rooms.

Above the table, and below

There is no room for error.

The nuclear threat was on the table, is still on the table and will be on the table as long as the conduct of our judges, attorneys and clerks continue in their political quest to preserve the positions of power and control in the country.

This journey is led and steered away from the public eye.

During the week it was announced that the President of the Supreme Court, she and not Malach, she and not Sheraf, met with Tzipi Livni, one of the leaders of the left demonstrations in Tel Aviv against the elected government.

The president also met privately with the legal advisor to the government, who is known to represent the government's position in court in front of Mrs. Hayut's chair.

What was said in these meetings?

What was agreed?

The answers to these questions are none of the concern of the ordinary citizen, the voter, the one under whose vote the classified meetings strive.

It is possible to understand the predicament of the president, in her position as the head of the legal system.

The political strategy of the judicial system, which ends with the dropping of the nuclear bomb in the form of fortifications, is not new, but the product of a long-term trend to cancel the decision of the people, even if extreme measures are necessary.

And this plan suffered a severe blow on the first day of November.

It started with investigations, marking suspects and harassing innocent citizens, continued with what appeared to be the planting of spies, lies and cover-ups of the affair, and was discussed in closed meetings such as the Keramim Forum.

Reminder: This is the famous forum where the former senior officials of the system were convened by the former adviser, Avichai Mandelblit, where they considered - without proper documentation and without letting the sun's rays penetrate and spoil the discussion - the options for action regarding the suspicions against Netanyahu.

The counselor in Rabbi Miara continued the tradition, and also convened the forum to discuss various matters.

And it seemed to work.

In Givat Ram and Saladin Street they have already started to breathe easy.

In the previous round, as a result of the semi-secret organization of unelected officials prior to the ascent of the government of change, a sort of opinion was prepared by the deputy ombudsman, Gil Lemon, defining the conditions under which Mandelblit's path would be paved to send Netanyahu home through barricades. But then Bennett arrived, took sides and prevented the need to implement the plan.

Ironically, the feat turned out to be a Pyrrhic victory.

The dream government of the Judiciary Party, the one that subordinated the legislative and executive authorities to the wishes of figures who were never elected, crumbled, and in its place, millions of voters returned Netanyahu, the great demon, to the Prime Minister's office.

There was therefore no choice left.

The nuclear option must be pulled out of the drawer.

In the political system it is clear to everyone that despite the denials, the fortification option is on the table.

Sources familiar with the matter told the story that a senior political figure is the one who is "helping" Beharev-Miara to mature in order to make the right decision, and get out of the situation in which the legal system found itself.

The formula is simple: go all the way.

If you are fired as a result of her conduct - you will become a martyred saint.

If you take extreme steps and don't get fired - you will continue and be the white hope of the right camp.

But with all due respect to the adviser, to the stirring political parties, to the jurists who meet in secret and their spokesmen in the media - there is one figure above the chasm between the ruling systems in Israel: the former president, the man whose courtiers have already raised him to the rank of a god upon whom he will speak, Aharon Barak.

Barak, of course, did not avoid public, extreme and blunt statements against the government's measures.

He hinted to Mandelblit regarding the direction to go in the Netanyahu files, was involved in attempts to reach a plea deal which he supported.

It is not out of the question that he will also support the nuclear procedure of taking out the fortresses.

Barak clearly recognizes the leadership vacuum and the laxity in the left bloc.

As an experienced political actor, he stepped into this void, and the commander's spirit blowing from his high chair is evident in the actions of the judicial system and in its sending arms into the political field.

still affecting.

Aharon Barak,

From defense to attack

This time, it seems, the opposition to Barak's political action will be different from the one we are used to.

The new right-wing government is not blinking at this point.

In fact, she went from defensive to offensive.

This is evident in the united front around Deri, and also in the press conference convened this week by Netanyahu and ministers Bezalel Smotrich, Nir Barkat and Eli Cohen, in which they attacked those who they claim are harming Israel's position in the world.

The coalition and the opposition understand that the rules of the game have changed.

If nuclear weapons are used, this will not be met with surrender, but with an appropriate counter-reaction on the part of the legitimate and elected government of the State of Israel.

The Israeli jurist system/party is playing with the most dangerous fire.

Dropping a bomb in the form of ousting the leader of the majority of the people may end in nuclear fallout, which will consume every good part of our political and social fabric.
