Anyone who follows the political developments in the region, and specifically the various meetings and summits that took place in the past year, must come out with a point of view that indicates the crystallization of new political understandings or the desire to crystallize and strengthen existing understandings, as well as different forms of cooperation between the same parties in several formats.

This definitely does not mean that the problems have been solved, or that the intensity of the hot tin flames that the region turns over, as a result of crises, conflicts and wars, has subsided. Multi-faceted diplomacy to settle it or in a first stage to prevent its escalation, represented by Russia and many countries that work to defuse tensions and cool the fronts, and another dynamic that works to escalate between the parties to each conflict through “bullying”, or through political discourse, headlines and demands that push and lead to Escalation, and puts sticks in the wheels of any solution.

The wrong American policies in the world and our region, and in Syria in particular, are the best example of the second case, as Washington spared no means but followed it to destabilize security and stability in Syria, and destroy the developmental achievements made over decades, and this destructive behavior is what has brought millions of Syrians to a state of homelessness. security and stability, and turned a large part of them into refugees and displaced persons, and made them lose food security.

In this context, it is possible to read the insistence of Washington and some countries on the pattern of repeated discussions of the Security Council every month regarding Syria, without any developments that require that, and this confirms their indifference to preserving the Council’s time and resources and the need to dedicate them to serving its function in maintaining international peace and security. Rather, it was keen to exploit it to repeat campaigns of lies and misinformation against Syria, and to level baseless accusations.

It may be useful to recall once again that the deliberate imposition of illegitimate unilateral coercive measures on Syria by the United States and its European allies has exacerbated the suffering of its people, in addition to targeting the health sector that provides health care to millions of citizens, including specialized children's hospitals through the establishment of the so-called Industry Bureau. The security of the US Department of Commerce imposed restrictions on the sale of equipment or the provision of services, support or spare parts to a large number of Syrian public and private hospitals, which endangers the lives of millions of Syrians, while Washington and others claim that these measures do not extend to the health field.

Exploitation and politicization of humanitarian activities, and pressure and blackmail of international bodies, is a matter that has become clear, and violates international agreements regulating the work of these bodies. There is no doubt that such a policy is a threat to the entire international community, and not only to Syria, because what is happening in the Security Council, through all arenas Inflammatory, it is an imminent danger to the international system, as there is no peace with a single pole that seeks to perpetuate hegemony and impose its agendas on the whole world.
