His face is the one that would come closest to "perfection" currently, according to a mathematical equation carried out by London plastic surgeon Julian De Silva, who revealed the complete classification on his Instagram account on January 25.

Doctor De Silva, founder of the Center for Advanced Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery in London, used it to measure the symmetry and harmony of facial features (such as the gap between the eyes, the length between the nose and the chin, the height of the forehead...) of certain famous men.
The one who is tipped to embody the next James Bond in the cinema obtained a score of 93.65%, thus approaching the physical ideal imagined by the Greeks.
Lips and eyes asset
"Regé won because of his classically beautiful face and his magnificent brown eyes," commented the expert in an interview with the
Daily Mail
, adding that "he easily obtained the highest score thanks to the spacing and positioning of his eyes”, but also thanks to “his perfectly formed lips”.
On the other hand, the specialist adds that “the only note which was slightly lower was that of the width and the length of his nose”.
The 34-year-old actor is closely followed by his Australian colleague Chris Hemsworth (with a score of 93.53%), the American Michael B. Jordan (93.46%) and the British singer Harry Styles (92.30%) .

A few months earlier, the surgeon had made the same calculation on famous women.
It was actress Jodie Comer who inherited the title of "most beautiful woman in the world" with a score of 94.52%, thus succeeding Amber Heard.

A controversial study
However, this archaic mathematical equation has been strongly criticized and questioned in recent years.
Indeed, with the rise of the “body positive” movement that advocates self-acceptance and inclusive beauty, this ideal of physical “perfection” based on mere numbers is rejected by many.
Much like the concept of face-screening performed on a sample of Hollywood celebrities, thus excluding the majority of the rest of the world.
