Dozens of Rahat residents demonstrated today (Thursday) demanding to pave a new access road to the city.
According to them, without an additional road they suffer from congestion and traffic jams as well as unsafe travel.
According to them, the fact that one of these has not yet been paved is discrimination against the residents of the Negev.
The magpies carried signs that read, among other things, "Where is the state budget?", "All in all, we want safe entry," and "All in all, we want to return home safely."
"Where is the state budget?".

MK Yosef Atauna came to the demonstration and said: "I think the problem is mainly a planning problem.
Routes Israel and the Ministry of Transportation are developing roads in the Negev, but the people, both Arabs and Jews, must be seen and given open access to all roads.
There is discrimination on both Route 25 and Route 31 - when they developed the roads, they did not see the Bedouins and the unfamiliar villages."
MK Walid Al-Huashla of Ra'am added: "Our demand is to open the entrance to the neighborhood, it is unthinkable that there is a policy in Israel's roads to block any Access to the Bedouin settlements.
This leads to a complete disconnection of the neighborhood, which is located near the road."
