In the distant future, Sara Khadem (Tehran, 25 years old) will explain very complex situations to Sam, her 10-month-old son.
She will explain to him in particular the reasons which pushed her, on December 26, to play the World Chess Championship for rapid games, in Kazakhstan, without wearing the veil - a very serious fault in her country, Iran - as show of support for the protests following the death of Mahsa Amini.
Placed in police custody, this 22-year-old girl died on September 16, three days after her detention by the Tehran vice police for allegedly inappropriately wearing the compulsory veil.
Khadem will also bring to the child the reasons for his exile in Spain, alongside her husband, Ardeshir Ahmadi, 32 years old (filmmaker, television presenter and businessman, imprisoned for three months in 2015).
