Tartous-SANA
The committee concerned with installing GPS tracking devices on public transportation in Tartous governorate has finished installing the devices on all lines operating within the city, in addition to the towns of Sheikh Saad and Dwer Sheikh Saad.
Judge Hassan Naous, Deputy Head of the Executive Office, explained in a special statement to SANA that all the mechanisms operating on the lines within the city are now working according to the tracking system, and during the next few days the service will be activated on the Tartous (Safita and Tartous) Drakeesh lines, and then successively on the rest of the lines operating in different cities. Areas of the governorate, pointing out that there are about 400 transport vehicles ready to install the devices, after the owners have paid all dues and financial fees for them.
Naous emphasized that there are lines that need to raise the mobilization ceiling, and increase the amount of fuel allocated to them, which we are currently working on so that these mechanisms can make more trips, pointing out that the committee in Tartous installs about 40 tracking devices daily, and the need to allocate new additional committees to expedite the installation Devices to serve all regions of the province.
Naous indicated that the committee has finished installing the devices on a third of the means of transportation in the governorate and is continuing its work until the completion of this procedure, which achieves fairness in the provision of fuel because the process of distributing it is carried out according to the distance traveled on the route of the specified line for the vehicles, which contributed to improving the work of means of transportation, and serving citizens better.
