Public subsidies, in the form of premises and services, have been withdrawn, for a period of six months.
According to Europe1, which reveals the case, Place Beauvau is based on an investigation by the prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis.
The association, whose stated goal is to "
promote the development of the Muslim community in France
", paid funds to places of worship under the guise of project financing.

Calls for donations would have been made without specifying the use of the funds.
Likewise, only a small part of the resources served the “
general interest
” as proclaimed.
Consequently, the prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis suspended the activity of the association.
